Tottenham vs Borussia Dortmund

On Wednesday night at Wembley, Spurs take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

These two sides met in last season’s competition, as Tottenham knocked out BVB.

Will history repeat itself this season?

For the record, BVB’s side has significantly changed since the last time they faced Tottenham.

Borussia Dortmund confirm four injury blows

In a huge boost for Tottenham a day before the game, Borussia Dortmund have confirmed four injury blows.

The club have confirmed that Marco Reus, Julian Weigl, Paco Alcacer and Lukasz Piszczek have all been ruled out of the midweek clash.

Reus is out with a muscle tear, Weigl has severe flu, Alcacer has a shoulder problem, while Piszczek has a foot issue.

Harry Kane & Dele Alli

It’s worth confirming that Tottenham will also be without star players for the Champions League match.

Centre-forward Harry Kane continues to miss out following an injury suffered against man United over a month ago.

Also on the sidelines for Spurs is Dele Alli. He’s been in Dubai working on his fitness comeback in recent days.
