LOS ANGELES — Apple unveiled the Mac Pro desktop computer today at their Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, but the internet can’t get over a distinguishing physical feature of the newest computer.
It looks a bit like a cheese grater.
Apple WWDC 2019: Goodbye, iTunes. Hello, iOS 13 and iPadOS
Those keeping up with WWDC took to Twitter to share their thoughts about Apple’s newest product and crack their cheesiest jokes about the newly designed hard drive.
Some consumers can’t wait until it hits the shelves to start mapping out the Mac Pro set up on their desks.
From the obvious yet delightful to the downright creative, comments also have highlighted the steep price tag of the new Mac Pro, coming in at $5,999, compared to the 2013 Mac Pro, which goes for $2,999 at the Apple Store. The puns practically write themselves.
On top of making you feel like a Michelin-star chef, the new Mac Pro comes with Apple’s newest Mac operating system, Catalina, as well as a headphone jack – which has largely been phased out of the Apple iPhone to the dismay of many headphone jack holdouts.
While many on Twitter are envisioning using the hard drive to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on their dinner, others have their sights set on summer.
Oh, Twitter, stay cheesy.
