What were the winning numbers?

Six numbered balls were selected at random, including the “Mega ball”.

The numbers were 2,8,42,43,50 and the Mega Ball was 6.

Who won the Mega Millions Christmas Day jackpot?

There have been no Christmas Day grand prize winners so far, Mega Millions confirmed.

The odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 302.6 million.

But the chances of turning a $2 Mega Millions ticket into a winner, including a $2 prize simply for matching the “Mega ball,” are one in 24.

The pot, which has a value calculated on the basis of a 29-year payout, is drawn from sales in 44 states.

The biggest-ever Mega Millions prize – $1.537 billion – went to the holder of a single ticket in a drawing on October 23 this year.

The ticket was sold in South Carolina, but the winner has yet to come forward, according to Mega Millions.

Meanwhile, Mega Millions are not the only popular lottery draw in the US.

The next Powerball jackpot will be drawn on Wednesday night, with a prize of $294 million.

The biggest ever Powerball payout was a $1.586 billion grand prize in 2016.

Last year’s Boxing Day draw also went without a winner and rolled over onto the following draw on Friday, December 29, 2017.
