We bring you last week’s top performances from Serbians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
   #1. This week’s number one is an international center Nikola Milutinov (212-94, agency: Octagon Europe, currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Greek team Olympiacos to a victory over the closely-ranked FC Barcelona (7-7) 69-60 in the Euroleague in Tuesday night’s game.
Milutinov was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds. Milutinov also added 2 blocks in 27 minutes on the court.
Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (9-5) is placed fifth in the Euroleague.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
It’s Milutinov’s fourth season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year: 10.7ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.7apg, 2FGP: 65.2%(60-92) and FT: 73.0% in 14 games he played so far.
Milutinov is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.
   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Marko Guduric (196-95, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in Fenerbahce‘s victory against the closely-ranked CSKA (10-4) 79-75 in the Euroleague last Tuesday.
Guduric recorded 15 points, 4 assists and 4 steals.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Fenerbahce Istanbul (13-1) is placed first in the Euroleague.
It was his team’s sixth consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
This season Guduric averages: 9.1ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.3apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 69.0%(29-42), 3FGP: 66.7%(18-27).
He played for the Serbian national team in 2017.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Nikola Jokic (209-95, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA). Jokic was the main contributor in a Denver Nuggets‘ victory against the Dallas Mavericks (15-15) 126-118 in the NBA on Tuesday night.
He was the best player in that game. Jokic had a double-double by scoring 32 points and getting 16 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 3 steals in 35 minutes.
The Denver Nuggets have a solid 21-9 record this season.
Jokic is one of the most experienced players in a team as it’s his fourth year in Nuggets’ roster.
Jokic has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.1ppg, 10.2rpg, 7.4apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 54.9%, 3FGP: 29.8% and FT: 84.3% in 30 games.
Former BC Mega Leks starter played for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #4. Point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a 1-point Armani Milano‘s victory against the ninth-ranked Banco di Srd (4-6) 107-106 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night’s game.
Nedovic was the top player that evening. He recorded 21 points.
AX Armani Exchange Milano (10-0) is placed first in the Serie A.
So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It’s Nedovic’s first year with the team.
This season Nedovic has relatively solid stats: 14.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.5apg.
He is also Serbian national team player.

   #5. Former international small forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nemanja Nedovic. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention.
Micov could not help one of league’s weakest teams Armani Milano (7-7) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Armani Milano was edged 80-78 on the road by the higher-ranked Bayern Muenchen (#8).
Micov was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 rebounds.
Micov has reliable stats this season: 14.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg.
He used to play for the Serbian national team
four years ago.

   #6. Center Vladimir Stimac (210-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in EuroCup) was not able to help Turk Telekom in their last game. Despite Stimac’s very good performance Turk Telekom lost 72-87 in Beograd to the second-ranked Partizan.
He was the top scorer with 21 points. Stimac also added 5 rebounds in 25 minutes.
It’s Stimac’s first season with the team.
He has very impressive stats this year: 15.4ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.2apg in 10 games.
Stimac is international player as he played for the Serbian senior team one years ago.

   #7. Former University international forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup) was not able to secure a victory for Szolnok (0-2) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Szolnok (0-2) was defeated 81-76 on the opponent’s court by the second-ranked Prishtina in the group I of FIBA Europe Cup.
Milosevic recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 19 rebounds.
There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be important.
This season Milosevic has very high stats. He averages: 17.9ppg, 8.3rpg and 2.5apg.
Milosevic used to play for the Serbian university national team
nine years ago.

   #8. Forward Nikola Kalinic (202-91, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Marko Guduric and both played together in the last Euroleague game.
Kalinic contributed to Fenerbahce‘s victory against the closely-ranked CSKA (10-4) 79-75.
He recorded 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes.
Kalinic has been at the team for four years.
This season Kalinic’s overall stats are: 9.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.6apg in 14 games.
He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #9. International point guard Stefan Jovic (198-90, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn’t help Bayern Muenchen (7-7) in their last game on Friday. Despite Jovic’s good performance Bayern Muenchen was defeated 82-72 in Madrid by the second-ranked Real.
He was the top scorer with 11 points. Jovic also added 5 passes.
His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is quite important.
Jovic’s total stats this season are: 8.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.8apg and 1.6spg.
He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #10. Swingman Aleksa Avramovic (192-94, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Fiat TO (3-7) 77-60 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday.
Avramovic had a double-double by scoring 13 points and making 11 passes in 33 minutes.
Openjobmetis Varese (7-3) is placed fourth in the Serie A.
It was his team’s fifth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Avramovic has very impressive stats this year: 16.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.1apg and 1.9spg in 10 games.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. Former University international guard Marko Ljubicic (195-87, agency: PEPI SPORT, currently plays in ABA League) contributed to Cibona‘s victory against the second-ranked Buducnost 83-77 in the ABA League on Sunday night.
Ljubicic scored 22 points, made 7 passes and 3 steals.
Ljubicic averaged so far 13.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.8apg and 2.3spg.
He used to play for the Serbian university national team
seven years ago.

   #12. Former U20 international power forward Andrija Simovic (203-95, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Braila crushing them 113-42 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Sunday night’s game.
Simovic was the top player that evening. He recorded 35 points (!!!) and grabbed 9 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Simovic has very impressive stats this year: 18.6ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.2apg in nine games.
He used to play for the Serbian U20 national team
back in 2014.

   #13. International small forward Vladimir Lucic (201-89, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Stefan Jovic. However that was another game of his team in Euroleague which brought him to that list.
Lucic contributed to a Bayern Muenchen‘s victory against the closely-ranked Zalgiris 88-84.
He scored 11 points in 29 minutes.
Lucic’s stats this year are: 10.3ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.3spg in 14 games.
He is also Serbian national team player.

   #14. International point guard Vasilije Micic (196-94, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn’t help one of league’s weakest teams Anadolu Efes in their game against CSKA in the Euroleague.
Micic scored 7 points and added 5 passes.
His team was badly defeated by 18 points 102-84.
Micic averaged so far 11.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 5.4apg.
He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #15. Former U20 international guard Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, currently plays in Romania) helped Targu Mures win their game against the fourth-ranked Targu Jiu crushing them 112-89 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Friday.
Kovacevic scored 22 points, grabbed 6 boards, dished 8 assists and stole 4 balls in 36 minutes.
Kovacevic has very impressive stats this year: 19.2ppg, 5.2rpg and 4.0apg in five games.
He used to play for the Serbian U20 national team
eleven years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Dusan Sakota (210-SF-86, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) led his Greek team AEK to a victory over the eighth-ranked CEZ Nymburk (2-7) 80-76 in the Basketball Champions League last Wednesday.
Sakota was the top player that evening. He scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 20 minutes.
AEK Athens (8-1) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League.
It was his team’s sixth consecutive victory in a row.
Sakota has been at the team for five years.
Sakota has reliable stats this season: 11.0ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.4apg in seven games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek.

   #2. Experienced DeMarcus Nelson (193-PG-85, college: Duke, currently plays in EuroCup) contributed to a 3-point ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket‘s victory against the closely-ranked Zenit 84-81 in the Eurocup last Tuesday.
Nelson recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basketis placed third in group F.
Nelson’s total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.0apg and 1.6spg.
He is a naturalized American.
Nelson used to play for Crvena Zvezda Telekom Beograd in Serbian league.

   #3. Strahinja Micovic (205-PF-92, currently plays in ABA League) could not help Mornar Bar (3-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Micovic’s very good performance the bottom-ranked Mornar Bar was edged 103-102 at home by the much higher-ranked Cedevita (#4).
He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Micovic also added 7 rebounds.
Micovic’s total stats this season are: 7.8ppg and 3.6rpg.

   #4. Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: 011 Sports, currently plays in VTB United League) was the major contributor in Kalev/Cramo‘s victory against the closely-ranked Enisey (4-7) 88-80 in the VTB United League in Saturday night’s game.
He recorded 20 points and added 4 passes.
BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (5-6) is placed seventh in the VTB United League.
Mirkovic has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.0apg and 1.1spg.
Mirkovic is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Bulgarian.

   #5. Djordje Lelic (198-SF-89, agency: PEPI SPORT, currently plays in ABA League) contributed to Lovcen‘s victory against one of league’s weakest teams Rogaska (4-8) 95-85 in the Erste Liga in Wednesday night’s game.
He scored 24 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 39 minutes.
KK Lovcen Cetinje (8-4) is placed fourth in the Erste Liga.
It was his team’s fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Lelic has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.0apg and 1.1spg in 11 games.

   #6. Marko Jagodic Kuridza (205-PF-87, also represented by PEPI SPORT, currently plays in ABA League) was not able to help Primorska (11-1) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the league leader Primorska was edged 85-82 on the road by the lower-ranked Sutjeska (#6).
Jagodic Kuridza recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
This season Jagodic Kuridza has very high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.0apg and 1.1spg.
Jagodic Kuridza has both Serbian and Croatian nationalities.

   #7. Danilo Mijatovic (206-F/C-83, currently plays in Balkan League) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Bashkimi crushing them 96-70 in the Balkan League in Tuesday night’s game.
He recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
This season Mijatovic has very high stats. He averages: 23.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.

   #8. Alexandre Gavrilovic (208-F/C-91, agency: Duran International, college: Towson, currently plays in Bulgaria) contributed to a 1-point Balkan‘s victory against the closely-ranked Academik Plovdiv 97-96 in the Bulgarian NBL last Sunday.
Gavrilovic recorded 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Gavrilovic averaged so far 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.2spg in six games.
He also holds two passports: Serbian and French.
Despite Gavrilovic’s Serbian nationality, he previously played for the French U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #9. Andrija Ciric (198-G-80, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for one of league’s weakest teams PVSK-Veolia in their game against ZTE KK in the Hungarian A Division, despite his very good performance in Wednesday night’s game.
Ciric was the second best scorer with 25 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 28 minutes.
But his team lost 83-92.
Ciric averaged so far 12.2ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.6apg in 11 games.

   #10. Nikola Lepojevic (195-SF-82, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Russia) was the main contributor in Universitet-Yugra‘s victory against the closely-ranked Kupol-Rodniki crushing them 104-79 in the Russian Superleague 1 (second division) on Sunday night.
He was the top player that evening. Lepojevic recorded 34 points (!!!) and added 8 passes (made all of his seven free throws) in 35 minutes.
Lepojevic has very impressive stats this year: 21.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.3spg in 14 games.
