Paul Pogba wants to complete a return to Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to reports from Italy.

The Frenchman admitted last summer that he wanted a “new challenge” following a mixed 2018-19 campaign at Old Trafford.

Reports have linked Pogba with a move to Real Madrid, with Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane said to be very keen on signing the midfielder.

According to Tuttosport, the 26-year-old has decided that Turin will be his next club when the summer transfer window opens.

By that point, Pogba’s contract will only have one year left to run, meaning that United will lack the same power to demand the £160m fee that is said to have prevented Madrid doing a deal for him in July.

In a way, where he goes matters little (provided it is not another Premier League side). Pogba has clearly had enough, and will seek a club playing at a higher level when he next gets the chance. And who can blame him, really?
