A deal for Nasri

West Ham are set to hand a deal to Samir Nasri.

That’s according to Standard Sport.

They claim that the Hammers have seen their minds made up due to Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere is set to be out for another five weeks with an ankle injury.

That’s led Manuel Pellegrini to push the board to hand a short term deal to Nasri, who has of course worked with Pellegrini before.

Nasri has formerly played in the Premier League for Manchester City, and won the Premier League title with Manuel Pellegrini back in 2014.

The deal is thought to go until the end of the season, with the possibility of it being extended.

Nasri will need to prove his fitness for that to happen.

Wilshere issues

Wilshere has always been injury prone.

Since his career started, the former Arsenal player has been in and out of the treatment room.

When on the field, he’s been good for West Ham, and shown he still has ability.

The Hammers will need Wilshere back fit if they want to continue their quest up the table.

They’ve been hit and miss this season but have rallied after a difficult start.

However, they’re now 9th in the league, level on points with Everton and looking at catching Wolves and Manchester United.
