Jamal Anderson, a former Pro Bowl and all-pro running back for the Atlanta Falcons, was arrested Sunday morning for public drunkenness, according to the Gwinnett County (Georgia) Sheriff’s Office.

The 46-year-old was arrested at 5:31 a.m. ET and was released at 12:57 p.m. after posting $213 bond, according to jail records.

Since retiring after the 2001 season, Anderson has had multiple run-ins with the law. In 2009, Anderson was arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession, with charges later being dropped. In 2012, he pleaded guilty for reckless driving and was sentenced to a year of probation. In 2014, he was arrested for a DUI, and in 2016, he was issued a warning for criminal tresspass at a QuikTrip store in Suwanee, Georgia, for allegedly exposing himself and appearing intoxicated. He was not arrested for that incident.

Anderson is famous for pioneering the “Dirty Bird Dance,” and was a workhorse running back for the Falcons in their 1998 season that ended with a Super Bowl loss to the Denver Broncos. During that season, he carried the ball 410 times for 1,846 yards and 14 touchdowns.
